How does it work? facial revitalisation Acupuncture -guasha

For thousands of years, the Chinese have known that beauty comes from the inside. At least as early as the Sung Dynasty (960AD-1270AD) Acupuncture rejuvenation practices were employed for the Empress and the Emperor's concubines. The Chinese discovered and utilised ways to change the energy flow within the body to initiate the healing process for rejuvenation. Though Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture can sometimes be referred to as an Acupuncture Facelift, it is more than a cosmetic procedure. It is a rejuvenation and revitalisation process designed to help the whole body look and feel young.

What does it involve?

Based on the principles of Oriental Medicine, Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture involves the insertion of hair-thin needles into particular areas of the face, ears, neck, hands, trunk, and legs along channels or meridians of energy called Qi. Specific points are chosen to manipulate the movement of Qi in the body according to the individual's needs. Many meridians either begin or end on the face while some have internal branches that go to the face. Therefore, treatments specifically affect the face while simultaneously treating the underlying actors that contribute to the ageing process.

The benefits of Cupping and Guasha

The benefits of Cupping and Gua Sha techniques are numerous. They improve the micro-circulation in the area which is being cupped or scraped and can move stuck blood, promoting normal circulation to the muscles and tissues directly beneath the surface treated.

Other sources used to assist and support the treatments
Use of Bach Flower Essence Blood pressure test Guasha Therapy
Tongue diagnosis Tongue diagnosis Use of Essential oils
Vibratory deep muscle massager Cupping therapy use fo herb to stimulate acupunture point

Beauty comes from within, but it can also be enhanced by many artificial and invasive methods from outside. Long lasting can only be a manifestation of good health and a tranquil mind. Acupuncture can help both body and mind, and make it possible for inner health and outer youthfulness.

How will you respond to treatment?

Each person responds differently, depending on his or her condition and lifestyle prior to treatment. Following the initial course of treatment, maintenance sessions can prolong the results for five to ten years.
Back to top ying yang symbol Top

How frequent will your treatment be?

Normally consists of 12 treatments. Initially treatments are once or twice a week. Each treatment take between one and a half and two and a half hours. The effects become most noticeable and last on or after the seventh treatment, though many people notice improvement much sooner.

Acupuncture Case Histories & Testimonials

Here's what Real people with Real Benefits have to say
.............

To preserve confidentiality, I have only included patients' initials.

The following case histories are included to demonstrate the power and effectiveness of Acupuncture. It's importance to remember that although we are mentioning the resolutions to certain conditions, this does not create a blanket cure for all the named problems. Acupuncture treats the body as a whole, without referral to a named disease, but naturally enough there are a lot of situations whereby presenting problems are resolved.
