was very emotional, just feeling miserable and very
sensitive about herself and life and she just couldn’t
stop the tears flowing. (Intensity 10/10) she explained
that she had managed to loose weight in the past
and reach her ideal weight, but she didn’t
feel the happiness and the joy she thought she would
feel, so the weight just piled on. During the session
the patient was very emotional and tears were just
flooding down her face. As the session continued,
the patient was able to unravel some deep-seated
issues that related to childhood bulling, and began
to express the hurt and pain it had caused her.
She realised in hindsight, that those individuals
had moved on with their lives and probably very
happy, but instead she had continued to hold on
to the memories and allow it to have such a detrimental
affect on her health and life!
By the end of the session the patient was smiling,
was accepting and most importantly had gained a
sense of understanding to her underlying concerns,
and was able to let go. She felt calm and was able
to look back and review the experience without the
emotions and the intensity had gone. She felt lighter
inherself, (has though the weight had been lifted),
more optimistic and enthusiastic about moving forward
without any baggage and ready to live her life to
